This is the final generation of the 1979–80 B/O badges.

While the LM402 was a favorite among countless rock legends, the 402 with the 1970s B/O badge is a particularly popular model.

The Radioloy—said to be aluminum with a chrome plating—produces
is a quintessential example of the rock sound, with an open, lively midrange.

This particular drum, with serial number 2198651, appears to be from the final generation (1979–80) featuring the sharp-edged blue-olive badge.
The hoop appears to be an original Radick product, though the final generation gives the impression of being slightly thicker.
* It was slightly heavier than the hoops on another drum from the late 1970s.

Although a few bolts have been replaced, the parts are believed to be almost entirely original. The snare wire also appears to be from that era.

The plating on the shell is in good condition; while there are some minor pitting marks, it’s still quite clean for a shell of this generation.
The other parts are also in good condition, making this a 1970s 402 that you can use with complete confidence.
It has a well-balanced sound and is a highly practical instrument.
