This historic model traces its origins back to the 1920s.
With its well-balanced blend of bright, refined high tones and rich, full-bodied low end, this series is beloved across all genres.
It’s also worth noting that its excellent microphone response has led to its use in numerous recordings.
The 5-inch model is truly the standard.
With just the right amount of sustain, volume, and excellent balance, it is the ultimate all-around snare drum.
This is an older model without lug spacers, and the strainer has been replaced with a P-86 Millennium Strainer, which is no longer in production.
While it shows some signs of wear, such as scratches and dirt, it’s still perfectly playable!
Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches, but no issues for normal use

Domestically the Ishibashi Music Corporation also handles a large amount of NEW inside of Japan. We have over 11 stores around Japan including Tokyo, Yokohama, Chiba, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka. Not all of the items you purchase from us are in our Shibuya store in Tokyo where we do all of our international communications from.
Please be patient while we do inter-company transfers on your items. The usual wait time for our shipping is 7 to 10 days worldwide. We are open from 10:00am until 6:00pm (Tokyo time zone)
