An SG Standard featuring a large pickguard. This is a Gibson SG Standard, manufactured in 2024.

It features a mahogany body, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard with dish inlays, Grover tuners, and is equipped with 490R and 498T pickups.

The large-pickguard SG is just as popular as the '61-style small-pickguard model. It’s a lightweight, easy-to-handle model, and its sound—characterized by a powerful midrange—is also a major draw.

The fret heights are at a level that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both tightening and loosening directions; its operation has been verified up to ±60°.
