USED Fender Japan / AJB OCR (Old Candy Apple Red) [4.22 kg / Manufactured 2007–2008]

This is a Fender Japan Aerodine Jazz Bass (AJB), manufactured in 2007–2008.

The Aerodine is characterized by a body top featuring a flowing, arched design inspired by aircraft. It features a basswood body, a satin-finished maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, a matching headstock in the same color as the body, and a PJ pickup configuration.

With its versatile PJ pickup configuration, excellent playability, and attractive appearance, this instrument is a valuable asset not only for live performances but also for recording.

Signs of use are visible (color fading, paint chips on the horns and body edges, scuffs and wipe marks, picking marks, buckle marks, tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws, etc.).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and action adjustment). The frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions; operation has been confirmed up to ±60° (currently set slightly tight).
