USED Sago / CAOS Custom Model [3.59 kg]

This is the CAOS Custom Order Model from Sago New Material Guitars.

Founded in 2004 and located in Amagasaki City, Sago New Material Guitars is a high-end guitar manufacturer whose instruments are used by renowned Japanese artists.Based on the flat-top CAOS form—known for being the signature model of Yoshiaki Manabe of the pillows—this is an archtop guitar featuring an MG (Master Grade) quilted maple/Honduran mahogany body, a Honduran mahogany neck, a Honduran rosewood fingerboard, GOTOH tuners and bridge, and coil-tap functionality via the tone knob pulls.

The pickups have been swapped out from the SPH-4 listed on the spec sheet to Seymour Duncan SH-1N & SH-5 (the original pickups were missing), and the strap pins have been replaced with Schaller-type pins.

There are signs of wear (scratches, play marks, picking marks, tarnish or pitting on metal parts and screws, and other cosmetic damage).

Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling); the frets are at a height that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions—tightening and loosening—with operation confirmed up to ±60°.
