USED K.Yairi / Angel Series RF-90N with L.R. Baggs M-1 Active [Made in 1998]

K.Yairi, based in Kani City, Gifu Prefecture, produces world-renowned acoustic guitars. This is the RF-90 from the Angel Series, featuring a compact body shape that offers a secure grip.

It features an all-satin finish, a solid spruce top, solid mahogany sides and back, a soft V-shaped mahogany neck, a 42mm nut and 645 scale length, a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, an “Angel” inlay on the headstock plate, a clear pickguard, and tuning pegs bearing the Yairi logo.

The RF series, with its excellent responsiveness and easy playability thanks to its 1000mm overall length, is a standout instrument known for its powerful sound that belies its size.

Retrofitted with an L.R. Baggs M1 Active pickup. Shows signs of use (color fading, whitening around the tuning pegs, minor scratches and scuffs, wear and playing marks, picking marks, buckle marks, shine and ring marks on the back of the neck from playing, clouding, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws, and other cosmetic damage).

It was set up (cleaned, strings replaced, truss rod adjusted) upon arrival. The frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions; operation has been confirmed up to ±60° (currently set slightly tight).
