A Fender USA Signature Series Eric Clapton Stratocaster with noise-canceling pickups, manufactured in 2001.

Based on “Blackie”—the iconic Stratocaster that Eric Clapton cherished as his main guitar until his retirement—this model features an alder body, a one-piece maple neck with a soft V-shape, a tremolo unit secured with wood blocks, three Vintage Noiseless pickups, and Volume/TBX controls with a 25 dB mid-boost.

Thanks to the TBX controller and mid-boost circuit, this model offers a stable tone while providing the flexibility to handle both lead and chord work with ease. It’s a guitar beloved by many—not just fans—and is suitable for professional use.

Signs of use are visible (including discoloration, cracks in the finish at the joint, scuffs and playing scratches, warping characteristic of the 8-point pickguard, picking marks, clouding of the finish around the position marks, scratches on the walnut cap of the truss rod, shine and ring marks on the back of the neck from playing, and tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and action adjustment). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions; operation has been confirmed up to ±60°.

Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches are present, but the instrument is suitable for normal use.
