USED Spector / NS-5CR Black [4.93 kg]

This is an early-spec Spector NS-5CR (made in the Czech Republic) featuring dot position markers and an 864mm (34") scale.

The NS-5CR, produced in the 1990s, was the predecessor to the “Euro 5 LX.”Featuring a maple body wing with sculptural beauty reminiscent of the exquisite chairs that symbolized Spector’s rise to global prominence, a 3-piece maple through-neck, and a rosewood fingerboard, this 5-string model is equipped with EMG 40DC pickups, 2 volume/treble/bass controls, a brass nut and brass locking bridge, Schaller tuners, and Schaller lock-pin style strap pins.

This 5-string model offers an exceptional fit, superb playability, a rich, full-bodied sound, and a wide range of tone control.

Signs of use are visible (including paint unevenness typical of a through-neck construction, scuffs, wipe marks, picking marks, and cosmetic damage such as tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling); the frets are at a height that does not interfere with playing, and the truss rod is fully tightened—there are currently no issues with playability (not covered by warranty).
