USED Fender Japan / TL52-70US 2T [3.21 kg / Manufactured 2004–2006]

A non-catalog color from the FENDER JAPAN Limited Collection. This Fender Japan Telecaster TL52-70US, manufactured between 2004 and 2006, features USA-made pickups and is finished in a 1952-style design.

It features a 3-piece ash body, a V-shaped one-piece maple neck, button-style string guides, a 3-way bridge, dome-shaped knobs, a 5-screw single-ply pickguard, and TL Vintage (USA) pickups.

This guitar features a ’50s-style look, a crisp tone from the ash and maple construction, and a rich, full-bodied sound with a strong presence.

There are signs of wear (dents on the lower edge of the body and the 6th-string side of the fretboard at the 1st fret; minor scratches, scuffs, playing lines, and picking marks throughout; and tarnish and pitting on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret leveling, and joint shim adjustment). The originally narrow fret tops have been leveled to a lower height but remain at a level that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod has been verified to move smoothly up to 60° in both directions and is in good working order.

Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches are present, but the instrument is suitable for normal use.
