This mahogany model of the LL16ARE series uses carefully selected Ingleman spruce solid for the front board and high-quality mahogany solid for the side and back boards.
It delivers a clear and warm sound.

A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement)
A.R.E. is a wood modification technology originally researched and developed by Yamaha.
By applying this technology to the body material of a guitar, a rich sound is achieved as if the guitar has been played for many years.
By precisely controlling temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure without using any chemicals, the same changes that occur over a long period of time after lumbering are produced in a short period of time, thereby improving sound transmission and vibration efficiency, and accelerating the extension of mid and bass notes and the rise and fall of treble notes.
This results in a well-balanced, warm, mature sound with fewer annoying overtones.

ギターのボディ材にこの技術を施すことで、長年弾き込まれたような豊かな鳴りを実現します。
薬品類を一切使わず、温度、湿度、気圧を高精度に制御することにより、製材後長期間を経た木材の経年変化と同様の変化を短期間で生みだすことによって音の伝達と振動効率を上げ、中低音成分の伸びの促進と高音成分の立ち上がりの増大や減衰の高速化を実現します。
このため、バランスが良く耳障りな倍音成分の少ない、熟成された温かみのあるサウンドが得られます。
