For customers residing in Japan
1979 Les Paul Custom is now in stock.
The Les Paul Custom, still highly popular today, is now in stock in Alpine White, reminiscent of the RR and ZW.
The body construction is 3-piece maple top and one-piece mahogany back, and the 3-piece maple neck/ebony fingerboard gives it a brighter and edgier sound than a mahogany neck.
The pickups are original engraved humbuckers on the front ('74-'82), but the rears have been replaced with numbered PAFs from '66-'69.
The toggle switch knob has been replaced with a black one, and the bridge has been replaced with a Japanese ABR-1 type.
The control knobs are black speed knobs instead of sombrero knobs, but they are believed to be original since they were used in different models in different eras.
All four pot dates are original from 1979, and the condenser is also original.
The overall color has yellowed with age.
There is a crack on the binding at the fret edge, but it does not affect the playing.
There are many scratches and dents scattered throughout, and the metal parts are dull and the plating is peeling.
The frets are low due to heavy use, but playability is good as each part has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center.
