The venerable Style 42, whose specifications were finalized at the end of the 19th century and became the foundation of the 40s.
The top is made of citrus spruce, sides and back are rosewood, fingerboard and bridge are ebony, and the pegs are gold-colored open-gear type.

The neck is slightly twisted and wavy, but there is little effect on playing at this point. It will be delivered in its current condition.
The binding on the side of the head has been peeled off and the frets have been adjusted.
There is a 10cm longitudinal crack on the upper left side of the back of the body, which can be felt when touching. There are no cracks on the inside of the body.
There is a tobacco smell that cannot be removed by cleaning the body and case.
There are dents on the back of the neck, scratches on the head and body, many scratches on the back of the body, and a scratch on the pickguard.
There are other scuffs and scratches, but the condition is good.
Neck condition: Twisted and wavy.
Truss Rod: Tighten/Loosen direction has room.
Fret length: 60-70%.

19世紀末にその仕様が確定し、40番台の基盤となった由緒あるスタイル42。
トップはシトカスプルース、サイド＆バックはローズウッド、指板とブリッジはエボニー、ペグはゴールドカラーのオープンギアタイプ。

ネックにてややねじれと波打ちが見られますが、現時点で演奏への影響はほとんどございません。現状でのお渡しとなります。
ヘッド側面のバインディング剥がれ修正、フレット擦り合わせを行っております。
ボディ裏左上にて10センチほどの縦方向のクラックが生じており、触ると段差を感じます。なおボディ内部側に割れは見られない状態です。
本体とケースにてクリーニングでは取れないタバコ臭がございます。
ネック裏に打痕が有り、ヘッドとボディにて擦りキズが見られ、ボディ裏にて擦りキズが多く、ピックガードにて弾きキズがございます。
その他擦れやくすみなどございますが、コンディションは良好です。
