This model is based on the 1962 style—the year the Jazz Bass was introduced—and features the very early specification of dual control knobs.
The body is made of alder, the neck is maple, the fingerboard is rosewood, and the controls feature stacked knobs with separate volume and tone controls for the front and rear pickups.

The truss rod is at its limit. At this time, it has virtually no impact on playability. The instrument will be sold as-is.
The original case and accessories are missing.
There are scratches and dents on the headstock, scuff marks on the fingerboard, and some areas where the finish on the back of the neck is uneven.
The body has numerous scratches and dents; the finish is uneven at the body end; the pickguard has playing scratches; and the metal parts show tarnish and pitting.
