The Masterfield MSA is a semi-acoustic guitar that has been around since 1996, when the original F&C brand was launched, and has many long-time fans. Compared to other series, the Masterfield MSA has more handcrafting processes, and the skills of our skilled craftsmen shine through.

This model has a curly maple top back and mahogany side body, rosewood fingerboard, and the popular blue burst color combination. It is a standard type with two humbucker pickups.

The first feature of the MSA is the "scooped rim and inner block. By hollowing out the solid mahogany, the center block and rim (sides) are integrated. This allows the string vibrations to be fully transmitted from the head to the body end, resulting in a rich sound.

The body size is 15 inches, which is one size smaller than conventional guitars. It is recommended for smaller players and those who are used to playing solid guitars.

Other features include an "Expert Fret Edge" for smooth fingering and other innovations based on know-how cultivated through years of experience.

Masterfield MSAは、1996年にF&Cというオリジナルブランドを立ち上げた時から存在する歴史あるモデルで、昔からのファンの方も多いセミアコースティックギターです。他シリーズに比べ手作業による工程が多く、熟練のクラフトマン達の技が光ります。

当モデルは、カーリーメイプルトップバック・マホガニーサイドボディ、ローズウッド指板、人気のブルーバーストカラーの組み合わせ。ハムバッカーピックアップを2基搭載したスタンダードなタイプです。

MSAの1番の特徴は「スクープド・リム＆インナーブロック」。ソリッドマホガニーをくり抜き加工することで、センターブロックとリム(サイド)が一体型になっています。それによりヘッドからボディエンドまで弦振動を余すところなく伝え、豊かな鳴りを実現します。

ボディサイズは従来のものよりひと回り小さい15インチを採用しています。小柄な方やソリッドギターに慣れている方にもオススメです。

その他、なめらかでスムースなフィンガリングを実現する「Expert フレット・エッジ」など、長年の経験で培われたノウハウをもとに各所工夫がなされています。
