The EHB body design is ergonomically engineered to provide the player with perfect balance, whether playing standing or seated
The horn is shaped to balance the body and neck when playing standing up and to be easy to hold, while the body curve on the high-string side was designed with a particular emphasis on fit and balance when playing seated.
The area of the body surface where the elbow rests has been contoured with a slight slope.
In addition, all body edges that come into contact with the body are finished with a smooth radius.
The back of the body features a bold cut that tapers toward the low strings.
This is designed to improve the fit when playing seated, while also taking into account the viewing angle of the fingerboard inlays.
In addition, to facilitate access to the high-fret area, the back of the horn on the treble side is cut in a scooped shape.
Chambered construction for a more visceral sense of the body’s resonance
By physically feeling the vibrations inside the body, just as with a hollow-body guitar, the player can better recognize the sound they are producing.

Vari Mid 3-Band EQ w/EQ Bypass Switch
As the abbreviation for “Variable Frequency Control for Mid EQ” suggests, this is an EQ that offers flexible control over the midrange.
Typically, a 3-band EQ divides the frequency range into three bands—HIGH, MID, and LOW—and allows the user to boost or cut frequencies within those bands as specified by the developer; however, with the Vari Mid, the user can freely adjust the focus of the midrange.
For example, by setting the Mid to 100 Hz—which falls almost entirely within the bass range—and boosting that frequency, you can compensate for a lack of low-end.
