The new BB series features a 3-ply alder/maple/alder body construction.
The hard maple wood sandwiched between the alder on both sides enriches the midrange and produces a resonant tone that blends seamlessly into the band’s sound.
Furthermore, the use of maple for the body allows for direct sound transmission from the maple neck, reducing sound loss between the body and neck and ensuring that string vibrations are reliably captured.
Miter Bolting for a Secure Neck Joint
We employ a miter bolting system that adds two screws to secure the neck end at a 45-degree angle, in addition to the four screws that secure the neck vertically from the back of the body.
This firmly bonds the body and neck, delivering rich sustain and overwhelming body resonance.
Newly Developed YGD Custom V7 Pickup
Combined with the alder/maple/alder body construction, this pickup delivers a clear, cutting sound that won’t get lost in a band.
Equipped on the 700 Grade and Pro Grade models.
Active Circuit
Switch between active and passive sound shaping with a single switch.
The treble knob on the 3-band EQ functions as a master tone control when in passive mode and is designed to prevent volume changes when switching modes.
High-quality gold-plated parts are used, and a battery alert LED is also included.
