The D-45 is a 2016 D-45 with a massive sound not found in current models!

The all solid, scalloped X-bracing provides a great sound, and the luxurious Avalon pearl inlays give it an upscale look. The bridge pins are decorated with luxurious Avalon dots.
The fingerboard is decorated with luxurious Avalon hexagon inlays. Traditional dovetail NECK joint with diamond volute.
Martin changed the model in 2018, but this is an earlier model.
The differences are: ① Bracing Scalloped X-bracing → Forward Shifted X-bracing
②Nut Width Approx. 43mm → Approx. 44.5mm
(3) Neck Shape Low profile neck → Modified low oval + high performance tapered neck (modern shape)
(4) Machine head rotomatic pegs → Vintage-like open gear pegs
(5) Top color Natural → Aged toner

(5) Top color: Natural → Aged toner, etc. The new model is a hybrid type of "vintage-like specifications typical of prewar Martins" and "modern and contemporary specifications".

There are scratches, scuffs, dents, and binding adhesion repair on the body. The pickguard has picking scratches with a fine overall feel. The upper right portion of the body top is dotted with small dents, and the right neck has picking scratches and toe-shaped hit marks. There are also large and small dents from the bottom right of the body top to the lower outer edge of the body. There is also a 6 cm line-shaped scratch on the lower edge of the top of the body. This is only visible in the light. There are some fine scratches near the lower edge of the body back. There are also some binding peeling and adhesive repair marks on the back of the body. There are some fingernail marks on the back of the neck at the center of the first floor. There are some scratches on the tip of the back of the head. There are some scratches on the top of the head from the tips of the strings. The nut and saddle have been replaced.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be tightened or loosened. There are no string marks on the frets and about 80% of the frets are left. The current string height is about 2.5mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 2.0mm on the 1st string side. The saddle height is sufficient, and there is still room for adjustment here.

Overall, the damage is commensurate with the age of the instrument. Although there are some dents and dings, they are not so noticeable and there is no significant damage that stands out. The sound is not inferior to the current model, with a sound that is more massive and powerful than the current model! This is one that we recommend.

Neck condition is fine.
The truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen.
About 80% frets remaining.

オールソリッド、スキャロップドXブレーシングによる抜けの良い鳴りはもちろんのこと、豪華なアバロン・パールインレイを贅沢に使った高級感溢れるルックスも 魅力の1つ。BODY TOPにはシトカスプルースを、SIDE/BACKにはインディアン・ローズウッドを採用。ブリッジピンには贅沢にもアバロン・ドットが施されております。
指板には豪華なアバロンを使用したヘキサゴンインレイが施されております。伝統的なダブテイルNECKジョイント、ダイヤモンドボリュート仕様。
2018年にモデルチェンジしたマーチンですが、こちらはそれ以前のモデル。

等モデルチェンジ。「戦前のマーチンらしいヴィンテージライクな仕様」と「今風でモダンな仕様」のハイブリッドタイプと変更されました。

ボディには、拭きキズ、スリキズ、打痕、バインディング接着修正があります。ピックガードには全体的に細かい感じでピッキングキズがあります。ボディトップ右上部分には小さな打痕が点々とあり、右クビレ部分にはピッキングキズや爪先状の当てキズがあります。またボディトップ右下から下部外周部分にかけて大小打痕が存在しております。またボディトップ下部エッジ部分には約6cmほどの線状の押しキズがあります。但し光に当てて分かる程度です。ボディバック下部エッジ付近には薄らと細かいスリキズがあります。またボディバック両クビレ部分にはありがちなバインディング剥がれ接着修正痕があります。ネック裏1F中央部分には薄っすらと爪痕があります。ヘッド裏先端部分には薄っすらと曇った感じでスリキズがあります。ヘッドトップには弦先で付いた線キズが所々みられます。ナットとサドルが交換されております。

ネックコンディションは問題なく、トラスロッドは締める方向緩める方向に調整可能です。フレットには弦跡等は無く残りは8割程です。現状弦高は12F6弦側で約2.5mm、1弦側で約2.0mmで調整されております。サドルの高さは十分にありココでの調整幅もまだまだあります。

全体的には、高額の為少々細かく書きましたが、年式相応のダメージです。打痕等はあるもののパッと見はさほど目立たず、目立つ大きなダメージもありません。現行と比べて重厚さや力強さを感じられるサウンドで決して現行モデルに劣るものではありませんよ!オススメの一本です。
