Fender USA FSR '75 Jazz Bass made in 2001 is now in stock.
The FSR (Factory Special Run) was a limited production item designed for Japanese users. This FSR item is based on the American Vintage Series '75 Jazz Bass that was produced at the time, and features a custom color finish with matching head. So it is a limited spec with matching head sonic blue color, rose fretboard, and white 3P pickguard.
Since it is over 20 years old, the clear topcoat has yellowed, giving it a seafoam green color appearance, but if you remove the pickguard, control plate, and other mounting parts, you can see the sonic blue color.

Appearance Condition
There are some minor scratches on the back of the body, which are thought to be traces of the inner fabric of the hard case.
There are no noticeable scratches around the headstock, neck grip, and the entire body, so it may have been stored for a long time without serious play or heavy use.
The nickel and chrome metal parts of the Fender are a mixture of nickel and chrome, and the chrome parts are still bright and shiny, although the nickel parts have some deterioration and smudging (minor scratches). (Minor scratches and scuffs have occurred.)

Work to be performed by a professional repair service
The cracks on the fingerboard and position marks on the first floor have been repaired by gluing the cracks, repairing the wood, and replacing the position marks, and the repair work has been completed successfully with no noticeable damage.
The neck has been ironed out, and the frets have been rubbed and the shape of the neck has been finished.
The neck has been ironed, fretted and shaped, and each part has been cleaned and set up.

Neck condition is presently fine.
There is plenty of truss rod to spare.
About 80-70% frets remaining

2001年製のフェンダーUSA FSR '75ジャズベースが入荷いたしました。
日本のユーザーさまをターゲットに企画された限定生産アイテムがFSR(Factory Special Run)でございます。こちらのFSRアイテムは当時に生産していたアメリカンビンテージシリーズ'75ジャズベースを基礎にマッチングヘッドのカスタムカラー仕上げを特徴としています。なので、マッチングヘッドのソニックブルーカラー、ローズ指板、ホワイト3Pピックガードの限定スペックです。
20年を超える経年期間なのでトップコートのクリアー塗膜が黄変化したことでシーフォームグリーンのようなカラーの外観ですがピックガードやコントロールプレートなどのマウントパーツを外しますとソニックブルーを確認できますよ。

外観コンディション
ボディバックなどに些少なスリキズがございますがハードケースのインナー生地の痕跡と考えられます。
ヘッドストック周辺とネックグリップやボディ全域に目立つ打ちキズは感じられませんので本格プレイや酷使などはされず保管期間が長かったのかもしれません。
また、ニッケルとクロームの混合であるフェンダーの金属パーツのコンディションはニッケル部にクスミや劣化の発生がございますがクローム部には輝きが宿ったままです。(些少なスリキズなどが発生しています)

プロリペア対応の作業
・1Fのフィンガーボードとポジションマークにクラックの発生がありましたが、クラック部分の接着や木部の修復、ポジションマーク作製交換が施工されて補修の痕跡は目立ち辛く上手に完了しています。
・ネックはアイロン調整後にフレットの擦り合わせと形状の仕上げが施工されています。
・各部位のクリーニングやセットアップも施工されています。
