1979 Stingray from the Priani period is in stock!

The body is ash and is dated 79. The PU has been replaced with a Duncan SMB-4D, and the preamp has been replaced with a Bartolini TCT. The pots have been replaced with Japanese ones, and the jack has also been replaced. The Vol knob has also been replaced. The pickguard has probably been replaced, and its mounting screws have also been replaced. The nut and frets have been replaced.

There are some sticker marks on the lower left side of the body top. There is a 3cm paint peel on the side of the 6th string side of the neck joint, which has been filled with putty. There is also a postage stamp sized sticker mark on the side of the neck joint. There are numerous dents and peeling paint all over the body, and there are weather checks mainly on the upper right side of the body back. There is a circle of paint peeling on the body back. Perhaps some kind of body pad was attached with strong double-sided tape? When the tape was removed, there are marks where it was scraped off with a coarse file. The back of the neck has a stand mark on the 9th floor, and the clear paint has peeled off in some places due to use. The first string peg is slightly bent, but there are no problems with its operation.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned slightly to tighten. There are no noticeable string marks on the frets, and about 70% of the frets are left. The current string height is adjusted at about 2.5mm on the 12F 4th string side and about 2.0mm on the 1st string side.

Overall, the guitar has a lot of use and damage, and the PU and preamp have been replaced, so it looks like it has wounds all over, but the playability is well secured and the fat sound is surprisingly usable. The sound is very different from other guitars. The sound is a matter of taste, but this one is a good choice.
