We have just received a SC-800 Scorpion Natural by The Kasuga (Kasuga Musical Instruments), which is believed to be made in 1979!
This guitar is a copy model of a certain guitar brand, and this one is a passive type. This is a passive model with mahogany wing body and maple + walnut 7P neck, through neck construction, rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets, medium scale, heel-less joint with through neck construction for high position access and stress-free playability. The through-neck construction also allows access to high positions and stress-free playability! Combined with the original humbuckers, you will be able to enjoy a lustrous and sustain-rich sound! The control layout is 1 volume, 2 tone, and 3-way toggle switch.

The nut grooves on the 4-6 strings have been corrected. The body and neck show signs of use commensurate with its age, including dents and buckle scratches. The hardware has been polished relatively well with no operational problems, although some of the plating is dull and peeling. The frets have been worn out, and the remaining fret length is as low as 50%. The truss rod has only a little remaining in the tightening direction, but there are no problems with the neck condition.

某ギターブランドのコピーモデルにあたる一本で、こちらはパッシブタイプです。マホガニーのウィングボディにメイプル+ウォルナットの７Pネックを組み込んだスルーネック構造。24フレット仕様のローズウッド指板、ミディアムスケール、スルーネック構造ならではのヒールレスジョイントによるハイポジションへのアクセスとストレスフリーなプレイアビリティを実現します！オリジナルハムバッカーとの組み合わせも相まり、艷やかでサステイン豊かなサウンドを堪能できるでしょう！コントロールレイアウトは1ボリューム、2トーン、3wayトグルスイッチとなっております。

4～6弦ナット溝修正がされております。ボディ/ネックには打痕やバックルキズなど、全体的に年代相応の使用感が見られます。ハードウェアにはメッキにくすみや剥がれといった劣化こそ見られますが、動作問題はなく比較的きれいには磨かれております。フレットはすり合わせが行われており、残りは5割と低めです。トラスロッドは締める方向残り僅かですが、ネックコンディションは現状問題ございません。
