Roscoe Beck is a bassist who is active not only in fusion music but also in many other fields, including Robben Ford and Eric Johnson. This is his signature model, a passive 5-string specification with an alder body, maple neck, and perf-fellow fingerboard. The neck scale is 34 inches and the nut width is about 48mm. The pickups are original humbucking pickups. The mini-switch can be used to switch between parallel, tap, and series for each pickup, and by pulling up the tone pot in the mix position, a "mixed sound with the output of the front PU slightly reduced" can be output. It is equipped with modern specs that are still at the forefront of the market today.

Lock pin parts are missing. The PU selector was replaced upon arrival at our store due to malfunction. Metal parts show light tarnish from age. The head shows minor dents and small paint chips. The neck has some minor scratches and dings, and there are some string press marks on the fingerboard around the 9th fret. There is no damage that would interfere with playability. The pickguard is partially cracked at the screw fastener, and the pickguard appears to be slightly bent. The tone knob has a crack and the top part of the knob is missing. Other than that, there are only minor scratches on the body.
Considering the age of the instrument, there is no major damage and playability is good.

Neck condition is currently fine.
The truss rod is a little stiff in the tightening direction, but it is confirmed to be about 90 degrees.
The frets are high enough to hold about 70-80% of the strings.
String height at the top of the 12th fret: 5th string side: approx. 2.5mm, 1st string side: approx. 2.0mm.
