USED Gibson Custom / 1960 Hummingbird Fixed Bridge HCS VOS PU-MOD 2023 [10]

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 2023 GIBSON CUSTOM 1960 Hummingbird Fixed Bridge Heritage Cherry Sunburst VOS PU-MOD.
This item is in the Gibson Custom category, so not only does it have the specs of the 1960 reissue, but the material used is Thermally Aged Sitka Spruce top wood and the entire area is painted in Thin Finish Nitrocellulose, a detail that is typical of the Custom Shop.
The traditional bell bridge style with a fixed bridge type bone saddle gives the sound of a traditional, basic acoustic guitar a luxurious, resonant, and rich roar, unlike the sound of an adjustable bridge type.
Furthermore, the new model at the time of manufacture was not equipped with pickups, but it has already been modified with L.R.Baggs' ANTHEM (Anthem TRU Mic Technology & Element PU Mixing System) by professional repair work, so it is too smart and ready to play. It is too ready to be used immediately.

General Condition
There are some dents on the top of the body on the 6th string side next to the bridge (less than 1cm) and some dents on the side of the body on the 6th string side (less than 3mm), but there is no noticeable damage on the neck grip and headstock. The thin-finish nitrocellulose coating and VOS finish give the guitar an old or vintage antique feel, so we think this is forgivable.
More than half of the Bourne 6-string bridge pins are chipped, but they are roughly the same length and shape, so you should not feel any problems with string mounting or playing.
The tendency of the low frets to wear out due to string pressing is a minor symptom of soft knobbling that occurs gently. The frets on the other parts of the fretboard are sound, so fret filing at this stage would require shaving the frets that do not need shaving all over the fingerboard, so it would be preferable to perform fretting when the frets are more worn and clearly dented. It would be preferable to do the fretting work after more wear and tear.
The paint is peeling on a portion of the hummingbird pattern pickguard, but there are no obvious pick scratch marks, so it is difficult to determine if this is due to uneven paint or VOS finish.
There is also some rust and minor damage to the truss rod cover and mounting screws, which may be due to the VOS finish.
The guitar is in used condition, so there is a little bit of everything, but it is clean and tends not to show any signs of heavy use and play.

Neck condition is presently fine.
