1990年製のギブソンレスポールカスタムが入荷いたしました。
ヘッドストックの裏側にカスタムショップエディション(CSE)のデガールがあり、当時のレギュラープロダクツとは一味違うかもしれません。
ボディカラーはホワイト系ですが、当時レギュラーのLPカスタムだと真っ白に近いカラーのアルペンホワイト... しかし、この個体はネックピックアップキャビティの底面に『A Ivory』と手書きされていますので、フィニッシュカラーはアンティークアイボリーかと。(マテリアルはボディトップ: センター2Pメイプル、ボディバック&ネック: 1Pマホガニー)
ナット幅は約42.8ミリ、ネックグリップの厚みは1F/約20.8ミリ、12F/約24.9ミリ、グリップ形状は滑らかな感覚のラウンドV形状です。
ピックアップは通称 Tim Shaw PAF (PAT. NO. 2,737,842、1980年頃に発売のレスポールヘリテージ80などに搭載された俗称 New PAF) がマウントされています。(PUカバーを外した痕跡はありません。コントロールアッセンブリはハンダバージンでフルオリジナル。ポット刻印: ボリューム/440-70034, R1379025、トーン/440-710794, R1379028)
総体コンディション
・トラスロッド調整: トラスロッドナットをきつく締め込まなくても指板面はストレートな傾向です。
6弦側と1弦側で反りの傾向がやや異なりますが、経年期間が35年目なのを考慮いたしますとビンテージギターにあるような症状かと... 今後のリフレット時に熱処理調整(専用アイロン)や指板面の研磨調整作業などで改善できる範疇と感じられます。
・各部位の外観: 使用期間や経年期間に伴いますナチュラルダメージが固有の雰囲気を醸し出しています。
塗膜の黄変、塗膜クラック、スリキズや打ちキズの凹みなどが至極当然に発生していますが、その独特な貫禄の存在感からは威圧的なのに気品を感じてしまいます。
・オリジナルブリッジはギブソンナッシュビルチューンオーマティックだったと考察できますが、当時流通のギブソンワイヤードABR-1(サドル&イントネーションスクリューがスチール製)、ストラップボタンはシャーラーセキュリティロックボタンに交換されていますが、その他はパーツ交換の無いコンディションを保つ稀な個体です。
・金属パーツのクスミやメッキの劣化、バインディング部位やトラスロッドカバーの縁などにクラックがございますが、人工的な細工加工を超えるダメージのリアリティは真贋を見極める事情通で本格派の玄人さまが好む本物志向の個体ですよ。

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 1990 Gibson Les Paul Custom.
It has a Custom Shop Edition (CSE) degal on the back side of the headstock, which may be different from the regular products of the time.
The body color is whiteish, but the regular LP Custom at that time was an almost pure white color, Alpine White.... However, "A Ivory" is handwritten on the bottom of the neck pickup cavity, so I think the finish color is antique ivory. (Material: body top: center 2P maple, body back & neck: 1P mahogany)
Nut width is about 42.8mm, neck grip thickness is 1F/20.8mm, 12F/24.9mm, and the grip shape is round V shape for smooth feeling.
Pickups are mounted with Tim Shaw PAF (PAT. NO. 2,737,842, commonly known as New PAF, which was installed on Les Paul Heritage 80, etc. released around 1980). (There is no evidence that the PU cover was removed. Control assembly is soldered virgin and fully original. Pot engravings: volume/440-70034, R1379025, tone/440-710794, R1379028)
Overall Condition
Truss rod adjustment: Fingerboard surface tends to be straight without tightening the truss rod nut.
The warp tendency is slightly different between the 6th string side and the 1st string side, but considering the age of the guitar is 35 years, this is a symptom of vintage guitars... It is possible to improve it by heat-treatment adjustment (special ironing) and fingerboard polishing adjustment work at the time of future refretting.
The natural damage caused by the use and aging of the guitar has created a unique atmosphere.
Yellowing of the paint, cracks in the paint, and scratches and dents are all natural, but the presence of the unique dignity of the guitar gives it an intimidating yet graceful appearance.
The original bridge was a Gibson Nashville Tune-O-Matic, but it was replaced with a Gibson Wired ABR-1 (with steel saddle and intonation screws), and the strap button was replaced with a Schaller security lock button, but the rest of the parts have been replaced. The realism of the damage that surpasses artificial workmanship makes this an authentic piece that is favored by connoisseurs of authenticity and authenticity.
