Gibson is pleased to announce the arrival of a 1997 SG Special. The SG Special has a solid impression with simple decorations, and features a mahogany body, mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard material. The pickups are a combination of 490R and 490T. The sound of this guitar is bright and taut. Rear tone pot has been replaced. The fretboard paste surface on the neck grip is bumped due to age. Overall, there are signs of use such as playing scratches, scuffs, and minor dents throughout. On the head top, it can be seen that the clear layer is floating on the painted surface. Overall, there are signs of use commensurate with the age of the instrument, but there are no playability issues.
