Riverside(リバーサイド)は、Strymon(ストライモン)の一つの集大成とも言うべきストンプです。多くのアナログ回路と真空管回路を分析することで、非常に広いカバレージとリッチな倍音構成、チューブドライブを彷彿させるトーンを備えています。
アナログの入力段は、class-A JFET のアナログ・マルチステージ・ゲイン回路です。このセクションの後に来るDSP ゲインステージへ最大ヘッドルームを維持しながら信号を送るために、このステージはデジタルコントロールされています。また、このセクションは弾き手のタッチやニュアンス、ギターボリュームへの反応を、真空管アンプに直接繋いだようにありのままに再現します。その信号は、DSP セクションで歪みの要素となる複雑な倍音構成を生み出します。
クリーン、マイルド・オーバードライブ、ハイゲイン・リード、ヘビー・サチュレート・ディストーション・・・どんなゲイン設定であっても、それぞれ極上サウンドを奏でることができます。
全体的に線傷や塗装剥がれが点在しておりますが、動作に問題ございません。

The Riverside is a pedal that can be described as the culmination of Strymon’s work. By analyzing numerous analog and tube circuits, it offers exceptionally wide dynamic range, a rich harmonic structure, and a tone reminiscent of tube drive.
The analog input stage is a class-A JFET multi-stage gain circuit. This stage is digitally controlled to send the signal to the DSP gain stage that follows while maintaining maximum headroom. Additionally, this section faithfully reproduces the player’s touch, nuances, and response to the guitar’s volume knob, just as if the guitar were plugged directly into a tube amp.That signal generates the complex harmonic structure that forms the basis of the distortion in the DSP section.
Clean, mild overdrive, high-gain lead, heavy saturated distortion... no matter the gain setting, each delivers a superb sound.
There are scattered scratches and paint chips throughout, but it functions perfectly.
