We’ve just received a recently made 1959 ES-335 VOS from the Historic Collection!

A Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection 1959ES-335VOS Vintage Natural has arrived.
It features current specifications and was manufactured in 2022 (Pre-pack Checklist Date: 01/13/22).
The finish is V.O.S. (Vintage Original Spec), a finish designed to evoke the appearance of a vintage guitar that has been well-preserved over the years and carefully cherished, complete with moderate signs of use.
The finishing technique is designed to subdue the gloss and sheen of the lacquer coating, creating a look that suggests a subtle patina and minor imperfections.
Depending on the individual instrument, slight scratches or small, minor dents may also be present.
Additionally, the metal parts are treated to show signs of dirt, such as a dull patina and rust.

Overall Condition
The grooves in the Delrin nut tend to be shallow; therefore, if you prefer a string action set as low as that of high-end guitar brands, it is likely to cause strain. According to Gibson’s factory standards, the current setting is just barely acceptable.(Please note that issues related to the nut grooves are not covered by the used guitar warranty. If problems arise due to your preferred string action settings—including neck adjustments via the truss rod—and you wish to have the nut replaced, this will be treated as a “customer request,” and you will be responsible for the actual cost of the nut replacement.)
There are minor scratches and a few dents scattered across various parts of the guitar, including the tip of the headstock and the area around the pickguard; however, the instrument is in pristine condition due to its recent production date.
There have been no noticeable part replacements or unauthorized modifications, and the original parts are in good condition.

Condition Grade: B+: Some minor scratches are present, but the instrument is suitable for normal use.
