OOOO size, larger than Martin's OOOO, unrodded 1978 M-38 is now in stock.
The body is slightly wider than that of the OM series, which gives it a different breadth from that of the OM and D series.
It has a spruce top and rosewood sides/back with a two-piece body and back.
The binding is applied to the body, neck, and head, and the top finish is a vintage yellowish color, giving the instrument a high-class feel.

Pickguard has been replaced due to deformation and peeling. End pins are missing.
There are weather checks on the body top. There are numerous buckle scratches and noticeable marks on the body sides and back.
Overall, there are scratches, dings, and metal rust.
The neck is slightly bent at the waist, but there are no problems with the playing condition.
One of the metal fittings on the bottom of the case is slightly sunken.

マーチンのOOOより大きいOOOOサイズ、ロッド未採用の1978年製M-38が入荷。
OMよりもややワイドなボディによりOMやDシリーズとは一味違った広がりを表現する1本。
スプルース・トップにローズウッド・サイド/バックでボディ・バックは2ピース仕様。
ボディはもちろん、ネックとヘッドにもバインディングがあしらわれており、またトップ・フィニッシュはヴィンテージ感のある黄ばんだカラーで全体から高級感が漂います。
しっかりとテンションからくる少し硬質な芯のあるサウンドが特徴的な一本です。

ピックガード変形、剥がれにより交換しています。エンドピン欠品。
ボディトップにウェザーチェックが入っています。ボディサイドやバックにバックル傷や目立つ傷が多数見られます。
全体的に傷や打痕、金属の錆があり、使用感があります。
ネックに若干腰折れがありますが演奏コンディション問題ありません。
ケース底の金具が1つやや陥没しています。
