A faithful reproduction of a 1957 Les Paul Standard, this Gibson Custom Shop Japan Limited Run model incorporates 2019 refinished specs for a vintage look and sound. The neck is solid mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard, and the set neck is deep long tenon construction. The top is bookmatched 2-piece plain maple and the back is 1-piece mahogany. Hardware is classic in every detail with historic parts such as Kluson tuners, ABR-1 bridge, and aluminum stop bar. Two Custombucker Alnico3 pickups with CTS pots and Luxe Bumblebee replica capacitors provide tight and core bass, sticky mids, and sparkling, extended highs. You can enjoy the vintage-like look and sound of this particular piece.
There are some minor scratches and scuffs, but the overall impression is that it has little use.
The neck is in good playing condition.
