The Gibson RB-3 STD is a standard model built to modern specifications while inheriting the design of the historic RB-3. The classic round rim and open-back construction provide a bright, clear, and resonant sound. The short neck design allows for comfortable fingerboard manipulation, and the fret and nut finishes are also designed for playability. The lightweight and well-balanced body is suitable for a wide range of genres including jazz, swing, and bluegrass. The exterior follows the traditional Gibson style, but with modern finishes for durability and stability.
