For customers residing in Japan
The SD-57 is a super Strat that Charvel Japan developed in the 1990s.
This model is a dinky style model with practical specifications, featuring an ash body, SSH layout pickups, and a Floyd Rose tremolo. The color is Pure Natural, which shows off the ash wood grain, and the look is simple but has a strong presence.
The thin neck shape and jumbo frets combine to provide smooth fingering. The front and center singles and rear humbuckers provide a variety of sound variations, from clean to high-gain.
This is a guitar with the solid build quality typical of Charvel Japan in the 90's and the unique character of that era.
The SD-57 stamp can be seen on the neck pocket, indicating that this guitar was manufactured as an SD-57 at the factory. In addition, it is marked as VG-705 on the (expired) label, which suggests that it was sold as VG-705 in the distribution at that time.
Paint is shiny on the center and right side of the front pickup.
There are many scratches and dents and some signs of use.
There is a slight twist in the neck due to the truss rod being tightened, but the frets have been fretted and are playable.
