Danelectro has a long history of producing many famous machines and appearing frequently in the top music scene.
This is the 59 shape, commonly known as the "Short Horn," one of the most beloved of them all.
The lipstick pickups, combined with the natural semi-hollow body ringing, produce a bright and sweet sound.
A metal nut is used for sound uniformity between open and pressed strings. The rosewood saddle makes the most of the sound of the Masonite semi-hollow body and produces a soft sound.
This is a piece that allows you to experience the full appeal of the short horns that have attracted so many fans over the years.
There are scratches and dings, and some signs of use.
The neck is in good playing condition with no noticeable abnormalities.
