For customers residing in Japan
The Epiphone Olympic Custom was made in Matsumoku, Japan in the mid-1970s.
It was one of the top models in the Epiphone Japan line at the time, with a set neck construction and Epiphone Custom humbuckers, and had a powerful tone in spite of its compact size.
This model has a walnut-colored body with a Bigsby tremolo.
The maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, and solid maple body provide a clear attack and core midrange.
The warm tone and soft vibrato expression of the Bigsby are appealing.
This is one of the few Matsumoku Epiphone made in Japan from the 1970s.
There are a few scratches, line scratches, and minor scratches on the exterior, but overall, there is no noticeable damage and the guitar is in very good condition considering its age.
The neck is slightly twisted, but the frets have been fretted and are in good playing condition.
There are no playing problems, but the frets are slightly worn.
Item Rank: B+: Some scratches, but no problems in normal use.
