Blessing Trumpet SUPER ARTIST MODEL
Serial No. 47212, tube weight 1097 grams.
Yellow brass bell, lacquer finish, 3rd trigger (upside down), 2 water keys, 2 tuning slide tubes, Super Artist model manufactured around 1949.
The overall appearance of the instrument is quite worn with scratches, lacquer peeling, and marks from correction, but it has been thoroughly cleaned and tuned so you can use it with confidence.
The Blessing Super Artist model was used by Clifford Brown.
It has both moderate resistance and good breathability, and is a must-try for bebop players.
Repair details: disassembly cleaning and washing, water key cork replacement, replacement of all piston felts and corks, piston and extraction tube adjustment, oil and grease re-lubrication
