The YAMAHA NTX1200R is a nylon string guitar for live performances!
The YAMAHA NTX1200R is an elegat model that combines the soft, rich tone of a nylon string guitar with the playability of a steel string guitar. The thin-body + 14-fret cutaway body design makes it highly playable and ideal for live and stage use. The front board is made of solid Sitka spruce and the back and side boards are made of solid rosewood, resulting in a clear and straight sound.

It is also equipped with Yamaha's original A.R.T. 2-way pickup (SYSTEM-61), which supports a wide range of playing styles from fingerpicking to pickup playing. The narrow 48mm nut-width neck and ebony fingerboard provide excellent playability.

This model is recommended for those who want to enjoy the tone of nylon strings easily at live performances, as well as for those who can smoothly switch from steel-string guitars or electric guitars.
