The Yamaha SG1000 is a high-performance Japanese-made guitar introduced in 1976. The set-neck construction with mahogany back and maple top and ebony fretboard provide rich sustain and a clear, tight sound image.

Equipped with a unique bi-sound system and direct circuit, it is possible to create a wide variety of sounds, from the powerful sound of a humbucker to the bright tone of a single coil. It also has an excellent balance of persistence and crispness when distorted, making it suitable for a wide range of genres.
