USED Fender Japan / TL72-55 Black [11]

This is a popular "Japan Vintage" model from the 1980s Fujigen era.
The serial number identifies it as being made by Fujigen around 1984-87, and it has a sharp Telecaster sound with the solid construction of the time.
The body is made of basswood, which is assumed to have been used for this model because the grain of the wood is not visible. It is lightweight, easy to handle, and has good mid-range cohesion.
The neck is a one-piece maple neck in vintage style, and the fingerboard R is 7.25" rounded. It is comfortable in the hand, and you can enjoy the Fender-like playing feel. The scale is 25.5 inches. The head logo and neck shape are also made with the specifications of the time in mind.
Two TL type single coil pickups made by Fender Japan are installed. The bridge side has a "crispy" attack like a Telecaster, with a quick startup and good punch. The neck side is fat and round, and can be used for a wide range of applications from backing to lead.
There are some paint cracks, dents, and paint chips on the end of the body.
The neck is twisted with a forward warp tendency on the 6th string side and a high rise on the 1st string side.
The frets have been fretted and are in good playing condition.
