Dark color model of Kyoto Purple Chloroform

This model is a pedal produced in collaboration with KarDiaN to commemorate the 75th anniversary of a certain music store.
The design is an elegant pedal based on "Kyomurasaki" headquartered in Kyoto. However, the contents of the pedal are different.
The pedal focuses more on the booster characteristics of chloroform, making it an aggressive and trebly booster rather than a clean booster.

In focusing on the booster part of chloroform, we used the "DALLAS RANGEMASTER" owned by KarDiaN's representative, Mr. Kitada, as a reference in the design process.
Many artists who use the normal chloroform originally use it as a booster, so we have further explored the specifications of the RANGEMASTER.
However, instead of actually using germanium as an element like the RANGEMASTER, the RANGEMASTER's chirpy, saturated boost and distorted texture from the amplification element itself, which cannot be created by clipping elements alone, have been reconstructed in the circuitry and parts to create a completely new pedal. It is a completely new pedal.

The hysterical yet musical sound of the RANGEMASTER has the nuance of a booster or fuzz. It is a very unique pedal.

The Chloroform "Kyomurasaki Ver." also offers a glimpse of a unique sound that is a bit outside the box of existing overdrive boosters.

In order to create the "RANGEMASTER" sound, the circuit design was reviewed and parts were boldly changed. The constant value of the coupling capacitor in the first stage was drastically lowered to focus more on the high frequency range, while at the same time adjusting the distortion to be hysterical. A polystyrene type capacitor with excellent high frequency characteristics was used. The IRC metal film resistors are used in series with the capacitors to give a more metallic and aggressive sound.
There are some scratches, stains, and other signs of use, but there are no problems with operation.
