A classic model crafted with nylon strings based on Martin's traditional Style-28.
A 1972 Martin 00-28C, the core model of the Classic line.
Crafted by Martin, renowned for steel-string guitars, this nylon-string model is based on classical guitar construction while retaining the company's signature rich resonance and deep, resonant tone.

Featuring a compact 00-size body with a spruce top and Indian rosewood sides and back. The premium wood selection characteristic of the Style-28 produces a well-balanced sound, combining softness with a solid, focused low end. It employs fan bracing, similar to classical guitars, allowing you to enjoy the warm, expansive tone unique to nylon strings.

This 1972 model belongs to the era within this series that featured a long scale length. Despite its nylon strings, it offers a taut response and rich volume. It's a model with a character that pairs well with a wide range of playing styles, including folk, bossa nova, and fingerstyle.

It's a slightly unconventional yet captivating instrument, blending Martin's traditional design with the structure of a classical guitar.
