First introduced in the 1990s, the FG180 30th is based on the FG180—a quintessential early Yamaha acoustic guitar—and faithfully recreates the atmosphere of the “Red Label” era. Featuring a classic dreadnought construction with a spruce top and mahogany back and sides, it offers impressive volume and warm mid-to-low frequencies.

It delivers a powerful, forward sound when strummed and a clear, well-defined tone when played with fingers, making it an excellent choice for singer-songwriters. Another key feature is its vintage-inspired look combined with modern playability.

This well-balanced reissue model is recommended for players who admire the original Red Label but also seek practicality.
There is some clouding of the finish visible on the headstock, the back of the neck, and the sides of the body.
A crack was found beneath the bridge pins and has been repaired.
Aside from a single dent on the side of the body, there are some minor scratches, but the guitar is in relatively good condition.
The neck is in good condition, and the guitar plays well.
