A USA-made American Vintage II 1966 Jazz Bass that faithfully reproduces the mid-'60s design!

We’ve just received the 1966-spec Jazz Bass from Fender USA’s American Vintage II vintage reissue series. It features an alder body, a maple neck, and a bound rosewood fingerboard, paired with a 3-Color Sunburst finish and a 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard for a classic, timeless look.Furthermore, it features the distinctive Pure Vintage Lollipop tuners, faithfully recreating the authentic mid-’60s Jazz Bass vibe, right down to the headstock area.Equipped with a 7.25-inch R radius 1966 U-shaped neck, Vintage Tall frets, and two Pure Vintage ’66 Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups, this instrument delivers a classic feel and the clear, distinctive sound unique to the Jazz Bass. The attention to period-accurate details—including the texture provided by the Gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish—showcases the exceptional craftsmanship unique to the American Vintage II series.
There are some scratches and chips in the binding near the 11th fret on the G-string side and near the neck heel.
There are also some minor scratches and dents, but overall it is in relatively good condition.
The neck is in good condition, and the instrument plays well.
