The Alt de Facto PX-4: Fano’s signature, one-of-a-kind bass.
Featuring an original body shape reminiscent of a non-reverse Thunderbird, this model combines a 32-inch medium scale with a bolt-on construction to deliver excellent maneuverability and easy playability.

The body is crafted from mahogany, paired with a maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard. The neck features an Early ’60s C profile, offering a classic grip with just the right amount of thickness.

It is equipped with two Lollar Thunderbird pickups. Featuring a vintage-style design with braided shielded wiring, the combination with the mahogany body produces a thick, rich low end and a sound with a solid, commanding presence. Coupled with the direct response characteristic of passive pickups, this guitar excels across a wide range of genres, from rock to alternative and indie.

The color is Old Black. The striking body shape, combined with the aged finish applied to various parts throughout the instrument, results in a simple yet highly atmospheric look. Drawing inspiration from vintage instruments while fusing modern playability with high craftsmanship, this is a guitar unique to Fano.
Since the aged finish was applied from the start, it is difficult to distinguish between the original aged finish and any scratches or wear that may have occurred later. There is no damage that impairs the instrument’s functionality.
There are no noticeable issues with the neck, and it is in good playing condition.
