The Ovation 1612 Custom Balladeer is an electro-acoustic guitar featuring a spruce top and Ovation’s proprietary Lyrachord round-back body. In addition to the resonance of a traditional acoustic guitar, the piezo pickup under the saddle and built-in preamp allow for performance through an amplifier or PA system. This model combines Ovation’s signature unique look with practicality designed with stage use in mind.
There are signs of wear, such as scratches and dents.
There is a crack in the finish near the bridge.
The frets have been filed down due to indentations. As a result, the frets sit slightly lower than usual.
The neck is in good condition, and the guitar plays well.
* The included case shows significant signs of wear and has numerous DIY repair marks from cracks.
