As part of Taylor’s entry-level series, the Academy 12e prioritizes playability and ease of use.

Manufactured in 2022, this model features a compact Grand Concert body with a solid Sitka spruce top and layered sapele sides and back. It offers a clear attack and well-balanced resonance, making it suitable for a wide range of playing styles, from fingerstyle to chord strumming.

The short scale length and a nut width of approximately 42.9 mm make it easier to play without straining your fingers. The part of the body where your arm rests has been contoured to ensure a comfortable playing position even during long performances.

Equipped with an ES-B pickup system, it’s ready to be connected to an amp or PA system. With a built-in tuner, this guitar is versatile enough for everything from practicing at home to live performances.
There is a dent at the corner of the fingerboard on the 1st string side at the 3rd fret. Scratches are visible on the side of the body.
There are also some minor scuffs and dents, but no other noticeable damage is visible besides what is mentioned above.
There are no noticeable issues with the neck, and it is in good playing condition.
Due to the angle of the neck, the string action is slightly higher than usual.
