Yamaha's BB Series: A high-end model that explores the potential of passive basses.

Developed through extensive research into the sound of vintage basses and incorporating the technical expertise Yamaha had cultivated over the years, this model features an alder body, a maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard. While based on a classic wood configuration, meticulous attention has been paid to wood selection and precision craftsmanship to optimize the instrument’s natural resonance.

It features a simple passive circuit with front and rear volume controls and a master tone control, allowing for a wide range of tones through the blending of the pickups and tone adjustments. The attention to detail, such as the specially designed BB-III bridge, reflects a deep commitment to sound quality.
The body shows signs of sun fading.
There is a crack at the neck joint.
Several faint paint cracks are visible on the left side of the body.
In addition, there are scratches and dents throughout, along with some tarnish on the metal parts, giving the instrument a slightly used appearance.
The neck has a slight rise on the first-string side and is slightly twisted. It is currently in good playing condition.
