The flagship model of YAMAHA acoustic guitars, the "L" series!

The L series is world-renowned as Yamaha's highest peak acoustic guitar.

Even after 40 years since its release, the "L" continues to be used by numerous artists as a masterpiece. The L series brought an era of acoustic guitars to Japan and continues to evolve with the times, always responding to the wishes of the players. That is the L Series.

The original jumbo body and all solid specs are made of Ingleman spruce for the top and rosewood for the side and back.

The top material is treated with our original "A.R.E (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement)" treatment. This gives it a rich sound as if it has been played for many years!

The bracing is non-scalloped X-bracing, with the X angle WIDE rather than the conventional 90°, and the bracing has been made lower and square in shape. This allows the X intersection point to fit perfectly! In addition, side braces have been added to connect the braces on the front and back plates, so that the string vibrations are more reliably transmitted to the back plate!

The NECK is made of mahogany and rosewood in a 5-piece construction for greater strength against warping and twisting! In addition, the fretboard is 1mm thinner at the 10th fret to improve playability in the high position! In addition, the fingerboard edge has been rounded to achieve smooth playability that fits comfortably in the hand! The back side of the head has been treated with rosewood veneer and volute processing to strengthen the head section!

The string height and pitch between strings have also been changed on the new model, with the 6th string side slightly lower and the 1st string side slightly higher than before, and the pitch between strings has been widened by 0.3mm.

The neck joint shape used on the Custom model has been adopted. The dovetail section is 4mm deeper to obtain a rich sustain!

The entire BODY is finished with a stone-powder coated lacquer finish for excellent response and dynamics! The gorgeous Avalon inlays also give the instrument a luxurious feel!

The response is excellent, the bass is tight, the treble is sparkling, and the sound is very well-balanced and luxurious!

オリジナルジャンボBODY・オールソリッド仕様で、TOPにイングルマン・スプルースを、SIDE/BACKにはローズウッドを採用。

TOP材には、独自の「A.R.E (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement)処理」が施されています。これにより長年弾き込まれたような豊かな鳴りを実現！！

ブレーシングは、ノンスキャロップのXブレーシングで、X角度を従来の90°よりもWIDEにし、さらにはブレーシングを低くし形状も四角に変更されてい ます。これによりXの交差ポイントがピッタリはまるのです！さらに、表板と裏板のブレイスをつなぐサイドブレイスを追加することで、弦振動をより確実に裏 板に伝えてくれます！

NECKは、マホガニーとローズウッドの5ピース構造で、より反りやネジレなどに強い強度を実現！また、10フレット部で 1mm薄くする形状をとり、ハイポジションでの演奏性も向上させました！さらに、指板エッジ部を丸くカットすることにより、手に馴染むスムースな演奏性を 実現！ヘッド裏側にローズウッドの化粧板とボリュート加工を施し、ヘッド部の強化も実現しました！

新モデルでは、弦高・弦間ピッチも変更され、従来よりも６弦側をやや低く１弦側をやや高くし、さらに弦間ピッチは0.3mm広げられています。

Customモデルに採用されているNECK接合形状を採用。ダブテイル部分の深さをさらに4mm深くし、豊かなサスティーンを獲得してくれます！

BODY全体を石粉目止めのラッカー塗装にて仕上げられており、レスポンス・ダイナミクスが優れています！！また、豪華なアバロンインレイも高級感を醸し 出しています！

レスポンスが秀逸で、タイトな低音、煌びやかな高音、とてもバランスの取れた高級感溢れるサウンドです！
