USED Gibson USA / L-9S The Ripper Bass 1975 Natural [12]

It is equipped with a 4-way rotary switch for a wide variety of sound variations.
THE RIPPER was manufactured and released from 1973 to 1982, and we have determined that it was made in 1975 based on the first two digits of the serial number, 99.
It has a large beveled maple body and maple neck/fingerboard with a set neck joint.
It is equipped with two single-coil pickups and has a thick and persistent sound typical of Gibson.
The 4-way rotary switch allows for a wide range of sound characteristics, from a thick core sound to a trebly sound with a good punch.
The electrical parts are original, but the pot date is illegible.

There are many scratches, dents, and weather checks scattered throughout, and metal parts are dull.
The pickup height adjustment sponge has been replaced with a new one due to deterioration.
The nut has been replaced, two second string peg attachment screws and one pickguard attachment screw have been replaced.
The pickguard is cracked and has some deformation and discoloration due to age.
The frets are worn quite low, but the guitar is playable in its current condition.
The guitar has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center, and is in good playable condition.
