USED Crews Maniac Sound / JB Modern Passive Black / Matching Head [12]

This model is based on the 70s JB by Crews Maniac Sound, a Japanese manufacturer of original guitars/basses and effectors.

It has an ash body, maple neck/fingerboard with 21 frets, black finish matching head, black neck binding and block inlays, black pickguard, nickel hardware, and overall monotone-based intrepid look. The overall look is based on a monotone tone.

The current JB Modern is a standard 60s style with an alder body and rosewood fingerboard, so it is possible that this instrument is an ordered model.
There are some differences from the current model, but the model name is JB Modern, which is written on the neck end and neck pocket.

The pickups are probably original, but there is no model number or other information.
This bass has a thick core and attack, which is a characteristic of Crews basses, and is a perfect match with the ash body and maple fretboard.

The neck and fingerboard have a matte lacquer finish, which gives it a pleasant feel and natural playing feel.
There is some paint peeling and bubbling on the fingerboard surface from the 2nd to 12th fret, but it does not affect the playing.
There are some minor scratches and dents scattered throughout, and the metal parts are dull.
Although it has some signs of use, it has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center, and is in good playability condition.
