USED GRECO / GO III S900 ROCK INN 30TH LIMITED Natural [12]

Limited edition of 50 custom specs ordered to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Shinseido ROCK INN.
Greco's original GO series models were released for a very short period of time from 1978 to around 1981.

This model was custom ordered in 1979 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the founding of ROCK INN (now Yamano Gakki) during the Shinseido era, and was released in advance in a limited edition of 50 pieces before the official release of the GO III series in 1980.

This model was made during the transitional period, and there were different variations, but this one has Speed Way instead of ROCK INN engraved on the truss rod cover.
There were two types with/without master volume, but this model is without master volume.

The specifications of the later GO III 1500 and GO III 1300 are mixed, with brown pickup covers and escutcheon, two PU-3D humbuckers and one GO II series single-coil pickup PU-200.

It has a brass nut with oval fingerboard inlays, a 5-piece maple/mahogany thru-neck construction, and no metal rivets around the rotary switch.

The arched top, body edge/cutaway, neck heel and volute are formed very smoothly by advanced woodworking techniques for an excellent fit.

Independent volume and tone for each pickup and a 6-way rotary pickup selector give the instrument a high-impact look and a variety of sound variations.
There is a large ding on the tip of the head.
There are some scratches and dents, both large and small, scattered throughout, and the hardware is dull, rusty, and has some chrome peeling.
