USED Fender Custom Shop / Vintage Custom 59 Telecaster Custom Time Cpsule Package Chocolate 3 Tone Sunburst [12]

This Custom Telecaster is a reproduction of a vintage guitar in extremely good condition thanks to the time capsule package.
This model reproduces the specifications of 1959, the first year of the bound body Custom Telecaster, with the advanced technology of the Custom Shop.

The two-piece alder body is joined slightly off-center according to the manufacturing method of the time, and binding is applied to the top and back of the body, creating a stylish look that is impressive.

The 59 LARGE C-shape maple neck, slightly thicker than the C-shape of the 60s, has a slab-board rosewood fingerboard with clay dots for position marks.
The frets are medium vintage, and the fretboard radius is 7.25-9.25" compound radius for better playability at high frets.

Two FAT 50s pickups are installed to reproduce the Telecaster sound of the 50s.

The body color is a 3-tone sunburst, which was adopted in 1958, and the chocolate brown found on the sides of the body and the edges of the top and back give it a glossy, luxurious look.
The body is painted in "Flash Coat Lacquer," which is a time capsule package finish that does not include buffing, which is the final step in the manufacturing process, but rather leaves a few scratches and scratches.
The hardware is finished in a closet classic finish, which has some dullness and fine scratches.
The actual use of the instrument is only minor dents, and the external appearance is in good condition.
It has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center and has good playability.
