This 7-string version of the JP15 was released in 2015 as the signature model of DREAM THEATER guitarist John Petrucci.

The body is made of African mahogany laminated with a loctited quilted maple top, and a carefully selected flame maple neck/fingerboard with a loctited finish that hardens the wood itself and improves the sustain.
The sound is characterized by a very warm, angular, and mild sound that seems to be rubbed out from the start.

The neck is finished with gunstock oil and wax for a smooth feathery touch, the fingerboard features custom Pearl JP15 inlays, and the guitar also features stainless steel frets for fast tone rise and durability.

The front and rear pickups are DiMaggio Illuminator pickups, which provide both a great clean tone and a warm sound that does not lose its contour even at high gain.

Equipped with a custom John Petrucci tremolo with piezo pickups that can be armed up.

New backplate design provides quick access to the boost, piezo mix, piezo treble, and piezo bass trim pots.

A custom Music Man Active preamp is built in, and the gain boost on/off can be turned on by pushing/pushing the volume knob.

This model is packed with high-level processing precision and features to realize and reproduce Dream Theater songs in the studio and on stage, which are composed of ensembles with other parts backed by very advanced playing techniques and music theory.
This instrument is very easy to play and can be used in a variety of situations, so please pick one up and try it out.
It is in excellent condition for a used instrument, with only minor wear and tear.
It has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center, so playability is excellent.
